The Baylor Girls Cross Country Team competed on Saturday morning at the Southern Showcase Cross Country Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama. Fresh off her win at last week's Coleman Midgett Invitational, freshman Mae Mae Powe led the Lady Raiders with a blistering PR of 18:47--followed by Helen Webb and Janie Pippenger.
Baylor's top seven included Addison Johnson, Ellie Myers, Ava Greer Allan, & Sophia Glover. Tennessee powerhouse and nationally ranked Brentwood High School won the meet, and Baylor placed ninth. Next up--Baylor will compete in the McCallie Invitational in Chattanooga's Woodland Park.
