For the first time in his storied racing career, Jonathan Davenport from Davenport, Ga. is the new "Dixie Shootout" champion. The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series annual stop at Dixie Speedway in Atlanta's Woodstock metro area was Saturday night and the three time reigning defending series champ went unopposed leading all 50 laps over fellow Georgian Brandon Overton and Chris Madden.

Current LODLM series points leader Tim McCreadie of New York was fourth just ahead of Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville. Tennessean Jimmy Owens was tenth and Scott Bloomquist was 24th overall. The series heads to Rome, Ga. for the annual Sunday nighter.

In Tazewell, Tn., the United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil hosted the annual Raz-Ma-Taz 50 at Tazewell Speedway north of Knoxville. Aaron Guinn (#97) of Russellville battled past early race leader Travis Fultz for his second career UCRA victory.

Guinn won in May at Tazewell taking the Melvin Corum Memorial. Current points leader Kenny Kizzar of Soddy Daisy was 9th overall.

The series has rescheduled its season finale at Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Ga. The $3,000 to-win 50 lapper will now be apart of the Thanksgiving weekend Sugar Creek Cranberry Clash Championship, moving from its Halloween weekend intended date.

Eli Beets of Knoxville won the $3,000 Crate Late Model feature Saturday night at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater over Cory Hedgecock and Colten Profitt.

In Chattanooga two-time Dirt Track World Champion Ronnie Johnson won the $2,500 Late Model feature. Booger Brooks won both the 604 Crate and 602 Sportsman features. North Carolina's Nick Hoffman beat an all-star field of Open Wheel Modified competitors including "Bo Duke" John Schneider and former NASCAR aces Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader.

Tuesday night 411 Motor Speedway in Gatlinburg hosts its richest Super Late Model race ever with the Race Night in America Castrol Flo-racing series invades for a $20,000 event.
