Joe Howard Stamper
Joe Howard Stamper, age 81, of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1939 to the late Hines Ross Stamper and Willie Lee Pass Stamper. One sister preceded him, Willie B. Stamper.
He was a member of Victory Outreach Church of Atlanta, Ga. and he owned and retired from the Bar and Lounge.
Survivors are his loving and devoted wife Teresa Hernandez Stamper of LaFayette, Georgia; one son, Leland (Cheryl) Stamper of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Betty Ann Pass of Palo Alto, California; three aunts, Doris Elder of Springfield, Ohio, Ada Hinton, and Dorothy Stamper of Ringgold, Georgia; grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerome Carodine as eulogist.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Interment will be at Naomi Cemetery.
