Deborah Russell
Deborah Ann Russell, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, in a local hospital.
She was formerly employed by Erlanger Medical Center.
Deborah was preceded in death by her stepfather, Willie Lee “Slick” Morgan; father, Johnny (Beverly) Hughley; and sister, Victoria Russell-Smith.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Ricks of Nashville; daughter, LaKeisha Russell of Hanover, Md.; mother, Juanita Russell of Chattanooga; brother, Michael Morgan of Chattanooga; sisters, Cornita Morgan, Perscilla Russell, both of Chattanooga, Valerie (Mac) Hughes of Suffolk, Va., and Therese Russell of Chattanooga; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Deborah will lie in state on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Henry Spencer as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
