Crystal Darlene Webb Dotson was born on August 27, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Doris Blackman and Gerald Webb, Sr.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Cosmopolitan Community Church under the leadership of Reverend J. Lloyd Edwards. Crystal graduated from Brainerd High School in 1977 and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1982 with a degree in Psychology. Crystal was a stay-at-home mother to her daughter, “NeNe”. She was a proud employee of G4S Security for the Justice A.A. Birch Building in downtown Nashville for 14 years.

Crystal loved to go fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved to be outdoors and take care of her plants and Crystal’s generosity was unmatched along with her infectious laugh and smile.

Crystal passed away at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing on April 20, at the age of 61.

She will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Crystal JuNeice Dotson; two grandsons, Eli Dotson and Asher Buchanan; two sisters, Sherryl (Jeffrey) Hill, and Pamela Webb; three brothers, David (Marilyn) Webb, Gerald (Casey) Webb, and Aaron (Rashida) Webb, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, May 1, at Mt. Pisgah UMC, 6245 Mt. Pisgah Road, Nashville, Tn. 37211 with visitation one hour prior Reverend Sheila Williams as pastor, Pastor Robert Stanley, officiating, and Elder Melvin Walker as eulogist.
