Junior League of Chattanooga will host League on the Links on May 18. This golf tournament event will take place at WindStone Golf Club in Ringgold and is open to participants in the greater Chattanooga community. The event will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch, and the tournament will have a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Proper safety precautions and social distancing will be observed.
Junior League of Chattanooga is excited to host this golf tournament for the first time in several years. League on the Links will serve as the organization’s main fundraiser for the spring.
Proceeds from League on the Links will benefit Junior League of Chattanooga’s member development programming and community impact initiative A League of Learners, which is dedicated to developing lifelong learners in the Chattanooga community. Through A League of Learners, JLC supports Hamilton County schools, teachers, children and adults through funding for special projects and partnerships with other local organizations to provide an active volunteer base.
Registration options include both single participants ($125) and teams of four ($450). Registration fees include 18 holes of championship golf (scramble), silent auction access, goodie bags, lunch and beverages. Participants may sign up via the JLC website (jlchatt.org/estore), by phone by calling 423-267-5053, by emailing juniorleague@jlchatt.org, or by mailing a check to 622 E. 4th Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.
“We are excited to host our second in-person fundraising event this spring,” says 2020-2021 JLC President Melissa White. “It means so much to myself and to JLC to see our community members and partners come out and support us after a lengthy hiatus. We are eager to get back to connecting with and serving our community.”
