Alexander Melton Calloway, 78, of Cleveland, made his move to be with the Lord and Savior on June 5, 2021. He was born on Jan. 23, 1943 in Opelika, Al. to the late Lorre and Woodrow Calloway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Myrlene; and brother, Terry Calloway.
He is survived by his wife, Eunella Sue Calloway, of Cleveland; sister, Carol Reinhardt, of Milton, Fl.; sons, James (Lisa) Hawkins of Chuckey, Tn and Michael Calloway of Mississippi; his girls, Tami Jackson, of Crossville, Darlene Stewart, of Cleveland and Traci Walker, of California; sisters-in-law, Sue Calloway, of Alabama, Louise (Frank) Ownby and Mildred (Ronald) Flowers; brothers-in-law, James H. McCoy, of Cleveland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. Pastor Todd Collins, Terry Rollins and Chris Stokes will be officiating. Burial will be held at Fort Hill Cemetery.
