Hamilton County Has 2 More COVID Deaths, 298 More Cases, 57 In ICU; Tennessee Has 51 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 298 new coronavirus cases reported on Thursday, bringing the total to 51,293.

There have been two more deaths from the virus, and the total is at 539 in the county. 

There are 206 patients hospitalized and 57 are in intensive care units. Eight more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 99 Hamilton County inpatients.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 47,984, which is 94 percent. There are 2,770 active cases. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 969,998 Thursday with 6,351 new cases. There were 51 more deaths reported, for a total of 13,096, State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 2,506 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 53 more than on Wednesday. Testing numbers are above 8.779 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 903,208, which is 93 percent.

Bradley County:  16,729 cases, up 83; 159 deaths, up 1

Grundy County: 1,994 cases, up 13; 35 deaths

Marion County: 3,748 cases, up 53; 51 deaths

Meigs County: 1,589 cases, up 17; 24 deaths

Polk County: 2,351 cases, up 10; 25 deaths

Rhea County: 4,955 cases, up 64; 83 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,982 cases, up 9; 30 deaths

Knox County: 57,013 cases, up 510; 677 deaths, up 2

Davidson County: 99,078 cases, up 488; 986 deaths, up 2

Shelby County: 115,270 cases, up 418; 1,806 deaths, up 16
