Katherine Stokes-Caylor, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. 

 

She loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Stokes; parents, A.E. and Maude Arendale, Sr.; brothers, Junior Arendale, Waco Arendale and John Arendale, and sister, Sarah Dietz.

 

Katherine is survived by her son, Mitchell (Paula) Stokes; daughter, Teresa Anderson; sisters, Dorothy Brady and Mary Fugate; grandchildren, Brandi (Brandon) Brown and James Walker; great-grandchildren, Gage Walker, Austin Scruggs and Elle Brown, and great-great-grandson, Ross Jackson Massengale.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m.–1  p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Hwy 58 Chapel.  A chapel service will follow at 1 p.m. 

 

Katherine will be laid to rest in New McDonald (Eastview) Cemetery.
