Fred Lowe
Fred A. Lowe, Jr, 85, went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 24, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederic Albert Lowe, Sr., mother, Dorothy Albin Sawyer Lowe, and wife, Marie Bright Lowe.
Fred is survived by his children, Rick (Kim) Lowe, Lisa Rhea, Mary Anne (David) Neely, and Diane (Kyle) Turnham; grandchildren, Alex (Sean) Thornton, Taylor (Nic) Elliot, Abby Neely, and Steven Turnham; and great-grandchildren, Perry, Emy, and Dorothy.
Fred graduated from West High School and Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He was an elder and faithful member of Greenstreet Church of Christ and instrumental in helping the homeless. Fred and Marie touched many lives in their ministry at Green Street. Fred would always love to talk about his Savior and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ whenever he could.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Westwood Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m. and in Nashville, at a date to be named later.
In lieu of flowers, perform a random act of kindness in Jesus name.
