Kenneth “Ken” S. Phillips, Sr., 81, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and over 30-year resident of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

 

Ken worked as an insurance agent for his entire adult life. He was also owner and agent of North Georgia Insurance in Dalton for the past 30 years and was loved and respected by all that knew him.

 

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Edward Phillips; mother, Beatrice Phillips; and brothers, James and Clifford Phillips.

 

Ken is survived by two children, Cindy (Bobby) Hamilton of Lenoir City and Spencer (Diane) Phillips of Ringgold; brother, Winfred Phillips and five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Bible Way Baptist Church, 2505 Lakeview Drive, Rossville.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 20, from 5-8 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Friday from noon until the service hour at the church.
