Josephine Marlow
Josephine “Jo” Potts Marlow, 87, of Dalton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eugenia Potts; husband, Eddie Marlow, M.D. and two infant sons, Mark and Chris Marlow.
Jo was a member for sixty years of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Conley Partin and fiancé, Chris Ault of Tunnel Hill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Marlow and Kyle and Teresa Marlow, all of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Sara Sears of Edgefield, S.C. and Jimmie and Miles Raper of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Partin, Marlow Partin, Madison (Stephen) Bridges, Ethan Marlow and Mckenzi Marlow; great grandchildren, Weslann and Merann Bridges and special cousin, Ann Blount.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Mullis officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 7, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church from 1 until the service hour at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in Gordy Cemetery.
