Gloria Dean Dunn McDonald
Gloria Dean Dunn McDonald, 83, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in a local health care facility.
Mrs. McDonald was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Mary Frances Mantooth Dunn and Verlin Lee Dunn. Her granddaughter, Morgan McDonald; her infant sister and her infant brother also preceded her in death.
Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a pastor's wife. Along with her husband, they pastored churches in South Carolina and Tennessee. She owned and operated Cleveland Bible Bookstore for several years. She enjoyed singing, teaching Sunday School and she was an excellent cook! Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Bishop E. A. McDonald, Cleveland; sons, Barry McDonald (Danette), Kevin McDonald (Reena) all of Cleveland, Todd McDonald (Cheryl), Crossville; grandchildren, Katie Holt (Brandon), Benjamin McDonald, David McDonald, Jonathan McDonald, Matthew McDonald (Laura), Andrew McDonald, Rachel McDonald, Elizabeth McDonald; great-grandchildren, Sam, Elijah and Lily Holt; sister, Judy Howell (Robert); brothers, Gary Dunn (Kay), Steve Dunn (Gina) all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with her husband, Bishop E. A. McDonald and her son, Todd McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
