Dorothy “Louise” Tinsley Rigsby
Dorothy “Louise” Tinsley Rigsby, 89, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on March 1, 2022.
Louise was born in Chattanooga, on July 12, 1932, to the late Mr. James Edward Tinsley and Mrs. Lula Foster Tinsley.
Louise was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and spending time with her family. Louise retired from Dolly Madison Bakery after over 20 years of service. She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Grady E. Rigsby, Sr., sons; Buddy, Joel and Mark Rigsby, granddaughter, Kimberly McGregor, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters; Beverly (Kenny) Hudson and Carol Fonville, daughter-in-law, Sue Rigsby, brothers; Harold, Bobby and Grady Tinsley, sister, Mildred (Ronnie) Smith, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Louise’s memory.
A graveside service for Louise will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8, at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1 p.m.
