Lula Sands
Lula Sands, 61, passed away on May 8, 2022, in Chattanooga.
She was a graduate of West Point High School in West Point, Ga. She attended Orchard Knob Baptist Church. She had been employed by the Chattanooga Housing Authority for 15 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh Davidson, Sr. and Mildred M. Davidson.
Lula leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, Arthur Sands; five stepsons, Alces Sands, Antonio Sands, Terdell Sands, Thomas Sands, and Christopher Sands; four grandchildren; three sisters, Jenny (Lawrence) Pettigrew, Cleveland, OH, Rose Pettigrew, Cleveland. OH, and Kathy Bland, Columbus, GA; three brothers, Warren Davidson, Cleveland. OH, Ralph Davidson, and Monroe Davidson, both of West Point, GA; nephews, Walter Bland and Willie Bland, nieces, Judy Slaughter and Rhonda Davidson; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Public viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, at the funeral home.
An 11 a.m. graveside service will be held on May 16, at Forest Hills Cemetery.
