Rosalyn Berry Mitchell
Rosalyn Berry Mitchell was born on May 14, 1944, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Rosa Howard and Charles McClure. Rosalyn departed this life on August 4, 2022, in Chattanooga.
Rosalyn leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Michael Mitchell of Chattanooga; daughters, Genise Evans, Nashville, TN, and Willa (Walter) Pitmon, Chattanooga; four brothers, Kerry (Elizabeth) McClure, Henry McClure, Ronnie McClure, and Stacy (Michelle) McClure, all of Atlanta; goddaughter, Shawana Burnay; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 12-1:30 p.m., followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 E 3rd Street, with Dr. Ernest Reid officiating.
