Roger Grim
Roger W. Grim, 84 of Rock Spring, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022.
Grim was born to the late Roger E. Grim & Virginia V. Watters on June 7th 1938 in Waynesburg, PA. He served in the US Navy on the USS Ticonderoga from 1956-1959 and later went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IL. He married Lettie W. Callison on June 22, 1963, and they lived in Louisville, KY where he opened a Chiropractic practice. They later moved to LaFayette, GA. in 1981 where he continued to practice Chiropractic. After practicing for 46 years, they retired and moved to Vero Beach, FL in 2010. Shortly after Lettie’s passing in 2016 he moved back to Georgia to be close to his family & friends.
During his lifetime Grim was influential in the field of Chiropractic and in its acceptance within the community. He also authored several books on the topic of Chiropractic and wellness. An avid hiker and camping enthusiast, he served as a Boy Scout troop leader for many years. He enjoyed metal detecting and attended many tournaments. As a devoted follower of Christ, he served in many offices of his church.
He is survived by his three sons: Scott, Todd, & Brent; two daughters: Toni & Laci; seven grandchildren: Chase, Meagan, Drew, Morgan, Alex, Trey, & Juniper.
The family is planning a private memorial service.
