Ruth Maxine Ratchford
Ruth Maxine Ratchford, 94, of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed to her heavenly home on February 3, 2023.
She was a member of Crosspath Church formerly East Ridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. “Pete” Ratchford, beloved grandson, Blake Ratchford, brother, Paul Werndli, and sisters, Peggy Tate and Betty Williams.
Left behind to cherish Ruth’s memory are her husband, Gordon Ratchford, sons, Barry (Sue) Ratchford, Dr. Ricky (Sheree) Ratchford, Bradley (Becky) Ratchford, Lonnie (Vicki) Ratchford, and Leslie (Nancy) Ratchford, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m. at Crosspath Church, 4201 Ringgold Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412 with Rev. William Jacques and Dr. Ronnie Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2 p.m. following the service.
