The historical and tragic dates of December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001 are well documented and acknowledged as two of the darkest events in America’s background.

June 8, 2023 should also be added for current and future recognition in the nation’s legal and judicial history.

On said date, ex-president Donald J. Trump was indicted on seven charges in the United States District Court for Southern Florida that includes the favorite tool of federal prosecutors as a conspiracy to violate the law with one or more individuals.

The same day it was leaked that the Democrat president’s former Vice President under Barack Obama, Joe Biden, had allegedly received part of a $10 million illegal bribe with his son, the embattled Hunter Biden, from a current resident of the Republic of Monaco in Europe.

The attack dogs on both the far left of CNN and the conservative viewpoint of Fox News on the right will inundate (and nauseate) the airways between now and the 2024 election and for years thereafter.

Both Trump and Biden are presumed to be innocent under our present criminal justice system.

Their guilt or innocence may ultimately rest in the hands of 12 citizens under an oath to guarantee “due process of law” and a “fair trial” under the Bill of Rights contained in the first 10 Amendments in the United States Constitution.

The preservation of our unique legal system of Justice in the three divisions of government (Executive, Legislative, Judicial) may be tested like the Watergate experience of the 1970s.

(June 8, 2023 may or may not match the “day of infamy” of December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2021 in our nation’s history! Time will tell!)
