Bill Fitzgerald
William “Bill” Fitzgerald, 65, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Fitzgerald; brothers, Larry and Oris Fitzgerald; sister, Teresa Smith; and his father-in-law, Harold Griffith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Fitzgerald; children, Tina (Jerry) Kirk, John Fitzgerald, and William (Jessica) Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Paige, Chris, Kourtney, Brayden, Kayden, Kyndle, Adalynn, and Amelia; siblings, Estel (Linda) Jeffers, James Fitzgerald, Lefa “Janie” Bowling, and Ellie (Carl) Black; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tony Lowe officiating.
Interment will be held at the Lee Chapel Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, Ga.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday prior to the service from 12 p.m. until the hour of service.
