Pansy Gail Williams, 73, Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Dec. 21, 1950, in Monroe, Mi., a daughter of the late Geraldine Vanmeter Creech Hall and Sammy Creech.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williams Sr., son, Jerry Williams, Jr., daughter, Cindy Lavonne Williams, and brother, Lloyd Hall.
She was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Connie Glenn of Dalton, Tracey and Andy Lopez of Cohutta, Alicia and Jody Newton of Chatsworth, Karen and James Austin of Springs, Tx., Tammy Williams of Magnolia, Tx.; sons and daughter-in-laws, James and Vickie Williams of Katy, Tx., Paul and Susan Williams of Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Pam Hall of Rocky Face, Thomas and Machelle of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Tiny and Robert Sanders of Rocky Face, Peggy Hall of Dalton; 23 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Pansy Gail Williams will be held on Tuesday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at the Church of God of the Union Assembly with Reverend Kaylon Hughes officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Monday. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
