In loving memory of Gertrude "Vera" Angus, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, who passed away surrounded by her family and her dear cat, Mr. Fluffy Pants.

Vera was born in Canton, Ohio, and her life journey was one of unwavering love, profound faith, and enduring grace.

Vera's life was defined by her dedication to her family and her passion for music. An accomplished pianist, she had the privilege of sharing her talent with renowned musicians such as Rudy Atwood and Dino Kartsonakas, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of hearing her play.

In her 60 years of marriage to Dr. David Angus, Vera exemplified the true meaning of partnership and commitment. Together, they raised a beautiful family and shared countless precious moments. Vera's strength, kindness, and unwavering support were the cornerstone of her family's foundation.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and Milo Williams, her beloved “hubby” Dr. David Angus, and her daughter, Talitha Hendrix.

She is survived by her four children, Davida Grant (Mark), Mark Angus (Joan), Mila Archer (Tim), and Lee Angus (Janey) who will continue to carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. Vera also leaves behind a legacy of 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished beyond measure.

As we mourn the loss of Vera, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the profound impact she had on all who were blessed to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.

Vera will be laid to rest in Van Wert, Ohio.

Arrangements are entrusted to the loving care of John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
