Callaway Gardens at Pine Mountain, Ga., is the perfect place for
families to have fun and enjoy being together.

Robin Lake Beach offers hours of family fun paddle boating; riding the
Chickadee Choo Choo miniature train; playing shuffleboard, miniature golf
and table tennis; and playing on the Beach’s playground.

There’s even a circus. June 1 through August 16, the Florida State
University “Flying High” Circus performs daily, except Wednesdays, in the Circus Tent at Robin Lake Beach. Their thrilling acrobatics and comical juggling routines have entertained Callaway’s Summer guests for 42 years.

No Fourth of July is complete if you’re not at the Surf and Sand
Spectacular, which features beach games, special circus performances, live musical entertainment by the Swingin’ Medallions and a fabulous fireworks finale after dusk.

Robin Lake Beach and its attractions are open from 9:00 a.m. EST to 6:00
p.m. daily through August 17 and then weekends only through Labor Day.
Admission to Callaway is $12/adult and $6/child (6-12). Surf and Sand
Spectacular admission is $15/adult and $7.50/child. Tax is additional.
Children five and under are always free. Daily admission includes entrance to the Beach and the Gardens attractions.

To celebrate Callaway’s 50th anniversary, guests entering the Gardens on a “Marvelous Monday” with a child age five and under will receive free admission (up to five paying guests) through November 18, 2002.

Guests can learn about the history and uniqueness of The Gardens at Callaway as well as experience special exhibits such as a highly acclaimed traveling raptor exhibit, “Hunters of the Sky,” at the Virginia Hand Callaway
Discovery Center. Adjacent to the Center is the very popular free-flight Birds of Prey program where guests witness raptors demonstrating their natural behaviors.

Also included with admission are the Day Butterfly Center, Sibley
Horticultural Center, Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl, Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden, Pioneer Log Cabin, Discovery Bicycle Trail and walking trails.

With all this to offer, it’s no surprise that Callaway has been chosen by FamilyFun magazine readers as the 2002 Best Family Resort in the South and as a Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Event for Summer 2002.

This year Callaway celebrates 50 years of providing “a place of beauty
relaxation, inspiration and a better understanding of the living world” for millions of visitors. Callaway is committed to continuing its mission of environmental education and land stewardship for the future.

Callaway is in Pine Mountain, Ga., 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Columbus. For additional information, contact Callaway at 1-800-CALLAWAY (225-5292)
