Reba Marian Lowry Greene, 82, of Chattanooga, died December 5, 2003.

She was an active member of White Oak Baptist Church, and her Christian faith was extremely important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Nell McNabb Lowry; brother, Henry Lowry; and son, David Lowry Greene of Colorado.

Her survivors include her husband of 63 years, R. Allen Greene; her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Don Thomas; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Gail Greene of Tuscumbia, Alabama; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Dennis Hale of Notasulga, Alabama, and Susan and David Brown of Ellettsville, Indiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight great­-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her sisters-in-law, Louise Green and Francis Lowry.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 Sunday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday.

Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or White Oak Baptist Church.
