Cleo Riggs Janow, 76, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Memorial Health Care in Chattanooga.
A native of Spring City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Claude and Vesta Newby Riggs.
Mrs. Janow was a graduate of Spring City High School, a member of the Spring City Foursquare Church and a retired machine operator with Tennessee Valley Authority.
She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Roach; sister, Joyce Lemons; and brothers, Albert and Hoyt Riggs.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Kenneth G. Janow Sr., Chattanooga; son, Ken G. Janow Jr., Tunnel Hill, Ga.; daughter, Marsha Walker, Chattanooga; four sisters Margaret Byerley and Alta Potter, Spring City, Martha Degges, Gainesville, Ga., Mary Ruth Motes, Unionville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Butts officiating.
Interment will be in the Thurman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Monday, at the funeral home.
