Chattanooga Zoo On Animal Planet April 22

  • Thursday, April 7, 2005

The Chattanooga Zoo will be featured on national cable channel Animal Planet on Friday, April 22, at 8 p.m.

The show “Ultimate Zoo” will take an in depth look at the zoo’s newest exhibit the Himalayan Passage and how it was especially built for breeding the endangered red panda.

A production company stopped in Chattanooga last August to film the segment. Interviews include Zoo Executive Director Darde Long, Zoo Keeper Heather Best, and the exhibit’s contractor Rick Jackson.

The public is invited to watch the show at the Chattanooga Zoo that night. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available.
