Alabama Teen-Ager Zicker Leads Signal Junior At 65

Three Tied For Lead In Girls Division

David Zicker, a 16-year-old from Florence, Ala., shot a 6-under 65 on Tuesday and took a 1-stroke lead in the Signal Mountain Junior Invitational.

Zicker shot a 5-under par 31 on the front nine and finished at 1-under on the back at the Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club.

Heather Arnold, Aimee Neff and Sara Hunt tied for the girls lead at 6-over 77.

Crossville's Micah McShan finished second in the boys division at 5-under 66 in the three-day event. University of Tennessee signee James Brannen from Clarksville, Tenn., finished third at 4-under 67.

Baylor School's Don Franklin III is tied for fourth at 1-under 70 with three birdies and two bogeys.

Baylor School golfers Catherine Hicks and Brooke Pancake are six shots off the lead at 83.
