Dwight Crawley
Kenco has appointed Dwight Crawley as chief financial officer.
Jim Kennedy III, Kenco’s chairman and owner, said, “Dwight will direct the fiscal functions of the company, providing hands-on experience across the full spectrum of financial functions. He will evaluate the company’s function and performance, participate in the development of plans and programs as a strategic partner, and assist senior management by providing expertise for the enhancement of existing long term goals and development of new financial plans.
He will lead continual improvement of the budgeting process through education to all levels of management.”
Mr. Kennedy added, “Dwight’s experience is varied and deep, with 19 years of financial leadership experience in distribution based industries, holding various positions with firms including Scholastic Book Fairs, Inc., Janitex Corporation, The Cosmetic Center, Inc. (a Revlon, Inc. subsidiary), Harris Teeter, Inc. and Arthur Andersen & Company. Most recently he served as interim CFO and consultant with Coverall Cleaning Concepts, Inc. (an Allied Capital partner); in addition he has been the CFO/COO and an investor in a separate startup, Natura Water, Inc. a distributor of branded water purification systems.”
Mr. Crawley’s educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a BS in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as executive training from Columbia Business School. He holds a CPA designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
