Terry Duquette Thibaud LeMaire, 89, of Chattanooga, died on December 31, 2011 with her son Gary and family beside her.

Born in Burlington, Vt., Terry was the first child of Mary and Silas Duquette. Terry and her husband Eddy enjoyed a wonderful career in the retail fashion industry on Church Street in Vermont. She loved clothing, especially shoes, and was a model in her younger days.

Terry had a wonderful eye for fashion. She continued to dress impeccably her entire life. She loved looking good. She also loved to dance.

Terry was predeceased by her husband, Edward Thibaud; sister, Lori Lozon; brother, Buster Duquette; second husband, Gordon LeMaire and special friend, Norm Myers.

She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Sue) Thibaud, Gary (Maggie Finnegan) Thibaud; daughter, Jan (Scott) Keller; six grandchildren who she adored; Todd (Suzie) Thibaud, Stacey(Skip) Hoechner, Teal and Evan Thibaud, Jay (Michelle) Guyette, John (Courtney) Guyette; eight great-grandchildren who gave her much joy in her later life; dear sister, Marge Donna; her many special nieces and nephews and close friend, Barbara Plunkett.

Homemade pickles sent from afar, trips to visit her and many cards and notes brought Terry many smiles in her later years. Terry will be dearly missed.

We want to thank Richard and the staff of The Lantern at Morning Pointe for the special care they gave Terry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terry's name to The Alzheimer's Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite 22, Chatttanooga, Tn. 37421.
