Larry Perry will be the featured speaker at the May 17 meeting of the Photographic Society of Chattanooga.
Mr. Perry is known among photographers for his weekly Larry Notes on digital photography. He is the author of 27 books and 400 magazine articles on a wide variety of subjects from business to Photoshop photography.
An adjunct professor at UT and UCLA, Mr. Perry is an expert on international telecommunications and has testified before Congress on several occasions. He is also a world traveler who has visited 117 countries around the world. Mr. Perry has used his skills with a Nikon camera to become a prize winning nature and wildlife photographer whose images have been seen in over 11 magazines with three cover shots last year alone. He is a certified Adobe Photoshop Instructor and has taught photography around the country. He loves wildlife photography and sharing his programs with area schools, retirement homes, and prisons. Larry’s programs are often controversial, but always entertaining. Ken Jenkins, noted wildlife photographer and owner of Beneath the Smoke Gallery in Gatlinburg, TN, calls Larry, “one the best kept secrets in the Smokies.”
