Willis, Adam Miles (Cleveland)

Adam Miles Willis, 25, of Cleveland, Tn., died Sunday, June 10, 2012 in a local hospital. 

He was a 2005 graduate of Cleveland High School. He was working on his computer engineering degree and Business Management Degree at Cleveland State Community College. He enjoyed kayaking, rock climbing, camping, swimming and spending time with his nephew. He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Vicky Wilson Willis and Greg Willis of Cleveland; his sister, Jessica Thompson and her husband Dusty of Cleveland; paternal grandparents, Bob and Helen Willis of Cleveland; maternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Wilson of Old Fort; his nephew, Nate Thompson of Cleveland; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Philippi Baptist Church with Reverend Sammy Hooker officiating. The body may be viewed at Ball Play Baptist Church on Wednesday from 4:30 until 5:30 for the Polk County family and friends before the interment in the Ball play Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent Vines, Barrett Parker, Matt Nabbefelt, Dusty Thompson, Jason Elliott and Jimbo Nichols.

The family will receive friends at Philippi Baptist Church from 12-3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13.
