University of Tennessee at Chattanooga forward Taylor Hall (New Tazewell, Tenn.) was named the Southern Conference Player of the Week the league office announced Tuesday.

Hall matched her career-high in the Lady Mocs season opening win over Alabama last Friday night at the McKenzie Arena. The senior poured in 24 points in 37 minutes of play. She added four assists, two steals and two rebounds to her performance. She connected on nine of her 19 attempts for a 47.3 percent performance and was perfect from the free throw line making 6-of-6.

Hall was selected to the preseason all-conference team by the league coaches earlier this year and was second on the team in scoring last season.
