Glenda Jewel Walker, 63, of Ooltewah, died on Monday, November 25, 2013 at a local hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Walker; mother, Zella Holmes and father, Dewey Thompson; half brother, Floyd Howard; sister, Brenda Vaughn.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffery (Belinda) Walker & Terry (Christy) Walker; sister, Sue Root; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesday, from 3-4 p.m. at Apison Revival Church of God. The Reverend Johnny Ware and The Reverend Robert Jenkins will conduct the service at 4 p.m. in the church.
Interment will follow the service in Plowman Cemetery.
