Freedoms Foundation At Valley Forge To Hold Local Membership Meeting And Awards Ceremony On Saturday

The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge will hold its local membership meeting and awards ceremony on Saturday, from 1-3 p.m., at the Collegedale City Hall, Community Room.

At this meeting, the Foundation will honor the following people for their contributions toward the goals of the organization and their work in the community:

  • Distinguished Chapter Member & Spirit of 76 Award  - The Honorable Larry Henry
  • Distinguished Citizen& Lifetime Achievement Award – The Honorable Harold Coker
  • Distinguished Military Service Award – Admiral Vance Frye, retired
  • Distinguished Teacher/Educator Award – Dr. Lucien Ellington
  • Distinguished Teacher/Educator Award – Dr. Bill McClay
  • Distinguished Volunteer Organization Service Award – Teresa Dinger, Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital
  • Distinguished Volunteer Organization Service Award – Vincent Oakes, Chattanooga Boy Choir

The public is invited for a light lunch and to recognize the award winners.
