Edna Higgins
Edna E. Higgins, 90, of Chattanooga, died peacefully on April 10, 2013.
Edna was predeceased by her spouse, Millard Higgins; son, Kenneth Robert Higgins, Sr.; parents, Walter and Matilda Shetters; three grandsons, Ken and Trent Williams and Steven Higgins; also several siblings, nieces and nephews- too numerous to name.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Higgins Schewe and husband Ed; sister, Jane (William) Benson; brother, Charles (Mildred) Shutters; grandchildren, Debbie (Bailey) Corbett, Bailey Dean, Kendon and Chase Corbett, Lisa Kay Williams, Kenneth Robert (Judy) Higgins, Jr. and their children Kameron and Jennifer, Stan Higgins, Kathy Higgins and daughter Tabitha, and Glen Higgins.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, from 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 16, from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 16, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, Ga.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
