Patsy Smith
Patsy Jane Morrison Smith, 67, of LaFayette, Georgia, died on Friday, June 28, 2013 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and north Georgia areas, she was retired from Roper Corporation where she worked for 13 years and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Smith, mother, Willie Lee Coley Eaton and father, Herbert Eugene Morrison.
She is survived by two children, Wesley (Montine) Smith of LaFayette, and Lisa Conner of LaFayette; companion of 13 years, Ronnie Hall of LaFayette; three sisters, Ann Leming of Chickamauga, Rose Marie (Sonny) Harris of Anacoco, Louisiana, and Janice Forrest of Chattanooga; three brothers, Cecil (Charlene) Morrison of Deltona, FL., J.H. (Linda) Morrison of Flintstone, and Herbert Parrott Jr.; adopted sister, Ruth Ann Newsome of Fort Oglethorpe; three grandchildren, Gracie Smith, Patrick Conner and Zachary Conner, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Jay Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood memory Gardens-South.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, from 5-9 p.m., all day Monday and Tuesday, and until funeral time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
