Margaret Sue Blaylock, 81, died on Monday, August 19, 2013, after a long battle with cancer at her son’s home.
She will be very missed by her son, Brian’s family and friends. She worked 26½ years for Bell South and her remaining years with her husband and son at Blaylock Music in Hixson. She attended Sale Creek Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Vida Mangum; husband, Clyde Blaylock; sister, Mildred Miller; and her “Little Buddy”, Chico.
Survivors include her son, Brian R. Blaylock; four step-children; sisters, Pat Stewart of Soddy-Daisy, Roberta Ann White of Red Bank; brother, Larry (Pat) Mangum; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Terry Bolton and Reverend Kenneth Bolton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 21, at the funeral home.
