Unum Welcomes Kayvon Meehan And Promotes Tyler Siira in Finance

Unum welcomed Kayvon Meehan as assistant vice president of financial planning and analysis and promoted Tyler Siira to assistant treasurer of Finance.

Mr. Meehan brings 15 years of experience in complex financial, risk assessment and planning products and processes. In addition to his certification as a CFA charter, Mr. Meehan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering, and a master’s of business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

In his new role, Mr. Siira will manage the company’s treasury operations.

Prior to this promotion, Mr. Siira was an assistant vice president in Finance where he managed the company’s corporate debt, share repurchase program and employee benefit plan assets. Mr. Siira has been with Unum for 12 years in a number of roles across the corporate finance and investments business areas.

Mr. Siira received his bachelor’s in accounting from Bryan College and his master’s of business administration from the Instituto de Empressa in Madrid, Spain.

He serves on boards for the Chattanooga Symphony and the Chattanooga Christian School.
