Supporting Dr. Mary Headrick

  • Tuesday, October 21, 2014

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Mary Headrick two years ago when she first ran for Congress. I was convinced then and am even more convinced now that she is the best choice for the 3rd Congressional District.

Dr. Headrick has degrees in math and computer science, which shows she has a brain and in medicine, which shows she has a heart. She is superbly qualified to serve our district.

Dr. Headrick supports a living wage; she believes that no one who works full-time should live in poverty. She supports public education as the best economic stimulus program. She will work hard to see that the Chickamauga Lock is replaced. As a physician, she knows first-hand the importance of protecting Medicare and providing access to health insurance for uninsured working Americans. She will work hard to protect our natural environment. As she says, we are entitled to a clean and healthy environment, “there is no Plan(et) B.”

Most important, Dr. Mary Headrick will place “People before Politics.”  Our citizens should be in charge, not lobbyists. Please remember there is a choice. If you are tired of having a “do-nothing” Congress, vote for Dr. Mary Headrick for Congress on Nov. 4, or better yet, vote for her early.
