Patricia “Pat” Taylor, 74, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2014 in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Vergie Ruth Hickman Alewine and Martin Alewine; and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin “Jim” Taylor; her daughter, Amber Marie Taylor; and her son, Martin Joseph Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor was an auditor with the Department of Energy with over 25 years of service in Oak Ridge, TN. She loved to read novels and she enjoyed fiction. She enjoyed taking care of people and she enjoyed working with Dr. James Beaty putting books together and sending them all over the World! Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Taylor of Cleveland; her son, Wayne Taylor and his wife Debi of Lawrenceville, GA; her grandsons, Justin Bunch of Chattanooga, Kevin Bunch and his wife Marissa of Cleveland and Devin Taylor of Lawrenceville, GA; her great-grandchildren, Ella Rose Bunch and Marley Ann Bunch both of Cleveland; her sisters, Cheila Griffis and her husband Joe of Orlando, FL and Juanita Hicks and Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted Tuesday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. from the Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens in Oak Ridge, TN with Dr. Fred Garmon officiating.
