Emma “Blondie” Barnett, 66, of Jasper, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014.
Blondie loved life and her family. She attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She had worked at Provident Insurance and retired from Tennessee Consolidated Coal Company.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Pickett; mother, Josephine Kilgore Pickett; sister, Margaret Parsons; and brothers, Snooks and Butch Pickett.
Blondie is survived by her husband, Charlie Barnett; daughters, Char (Jim) Cheaves and Brooke (Kenny) Swafford; grandchildren, Amber (Beau) Bailey, Summer Cheaves, Aidan, Ava and Bella Swafford; great-grandchildren, Addison, Maddox and Averi Bailey; brothers and sisters, Sandra Chapman, Evelyn Reese, Sammy Pickett and Benny Pickett; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Vera Anderson.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, Wednesday, November 19, with Bro. John Helenthal officiating. Interment will follow in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
