The Hixson Flight Museum will be presenting Erlanger Children’s Hospital with a check on Saturday.

The presentation will be in front of the Museum’s T-28 aircraft currently located under the Olgiati Bridge during Riverbend.

The museum held its annual Open Hangar Gala on April 12. It included a silent auction.

The processed from the silent auction are donated to the Erlanger Children’s Hospital.

The Hixson Flight Museum is a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the public’s awareness of aviation through the flight of historic aircraft while supporting the Erlanger Children’s Hospital.

Officials of the Hixson Flight Museum on Wednesday thanked the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority and Wilson Air for the use of their facilities for the Open Hangar Gala event.
