Virginia Rea Conner, 71, of Athens, TN, passed away Saturday, June 7, at a local hospital.
A native of Red Bay, AL, she had lived in the Bradley and McMinn County Area for the past 21 years. She enjoyed participating in Beauty pageants, dancing, and listening to southern gospel music. She was a member of the Sylvania Church of GOD of Prophecy in Sylvania, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerstel and Della Bentley Dickinson; and sister, Lena Bain.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Conner of Cleveland and Missy Miller and husband Dan of Athens; granddaughters, Reanna Cousino of Athens and Savannah Miller of Athens; sisters, Onice Humphries of Red Bay, AL and Louise Woods and husband Gene of Copley, OH; her best friend, Kathy Clark of Cleveland, OH; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
