World Deaf Team Tennis - Day Two Results

USA men and women victorious

Led by Daniel Hangstefer's singles and doubles wins, the USA men defeated Great Britain, 2-1, today in the 2014 World Deaf Tennis Championships at The Champions Club.

The USA men are 1-0 in pool play and face Germany Wednesday morning at 8.

The American women defeated Great Britain, 3-0, and are now 2-0 in pool play. Emily Hangstefer and Laura Chapman claimed singles wins and teamed for the doubles point as well.

The USA women takes on Russia (0-2) in their final match in Pool A Wednesday morning at 8.

Also in Pool A, Germany (1-1) faces Great Britain (1-1)  as the top two squad's from each women's pool advance to the semifinals Friday... finals are Saturday

In Pool B, Spain (2-0) vs. Chinese Taipei (2-0) and Japan plays India.
