Wooten, Charles Franklin Sr. (Rock Spring)

Charles Franklin Wooten Sr., 93, of Rock Spring, Ga., passed away Friday, July 18, 2014.

He was a member of the Hickory Valley Church of God of Prophecy,  and Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army in the medical corps at Camp Crowder, Mo.                     

 He was the son of the late Chester Lewis Wooten Sr. and Lillian Wooten.                                   

 He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eula Wooten, daughter, Sandra Light, sons, Frank and David Wooten, sister, Imojene  Mcgill, and two brothers, Chester Wooten Jr. , Paul Wooten.

 Survivors include his daughter, Angie Collins, sister, Inez Smith, brother, Olean Wooten, granddaughter, Kymberly Martin, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 21,  at the East Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in the East Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
