Why I Support Weston Wamp - And Response

  • Wednesday, July 2, 2014

I am very concerned with the lack of direction that our country is on. We have a do nothing Congress that refuses to work together. Partisanship is at an all time high with no relief in sight. We have a $17 trillion debt and high unemployment that needs to be addressed while the two parties continuously blame each other.

It's time for serious reforms, but with the current political climate in Washington, there is little chance of that happening. I'm concerned Congressman Fleischmann is at the center of that partisanship and has no intention of working towards a resolution to our issues. It's time for young, new ideas.  It's clear to me that the present crowd is incapable of resolving our problems.

That's why I support Weston Wamp for Congress. Weston is an intelligent and impressive young man who understands what is at stake. I have known the Wamp family my entire life and I'm confident he can handle the job. It's time for a change

Why do so many people question Weston's age as being old enough? The founder of our nation made it a law 25 years of age was old enough. As we all know people mature at different rates. A lot of that comes from our background. Weston has lived and breathed the third district and knows what is needed in the area.

You do not have to mop floors to know hard work.  I have known Weston since he was about eight years old, at my senior citizen age I have no problem in giving him my vote.  Consider the person you want to speak for you in Washington.  Do not just look at the age and what one did as helping their family, both candidates have done good, but who will do a better job now.
