John B. Andrews, Jr., 68, of Ringgold, Georgia, died Monday, July 21, 2014.
John was born on January 11, 1946 in Chattanooga to the late Lucille and John B. Andrews, Sr. He was a graduate of East Ridge High School and retired from TVA after 25 years of service. John was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Andrews.
John is survived by his current wife, Elaine Spring Andrews; children, Christy Andrews Huggins and husband Charlie and Robert Craig Andrews; grandchildren, John Sawyer and Judson Martin Huggins; step children, David Wright and wife Melissa, Scott Ahlgren and Richard Spring; step grandchildren, Hayleigh and Willow Wright.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.A funeral service for John will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
