Sarah Frances Floyd, 76, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Floyd Sr.; and one daughter, Anita L. Floyd.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda and William “Doc” Dawkins, Donna R. Hall and C. Elaine Bates, all of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and DeAun Floyd of Cohutta and William E. “Donnie” Floyd, Jr. of Calhoun; sisters, Wanda Huey and Toma Saine, both of LaFayette; brothers, Paul Melvin Cooper and Charles F. Cooper, both of LaFayette; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22, from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be at the United Memorial Gardens.
