  • Monday, August 18, 2014

A Walker County woman was booked Saturday night on a charge of murder after she stabbed her boyfriend in the chest with a steak knife, resulting in his death, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.

Patricia Ann Harrison, 50, of 1610 B Wilson Road, Rossville, was charged with murder, Family Violence Act (FVS).  The victim was identified as William Drymon, 63, of the same address.

Walker County deputies responded to the residence around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday to investigate a call of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, deputies located the victim lying inside the front door bleeding from the stab wound.

The victim was transported to Erlanger Hospital, where he died. Ms. Harrison was arrested without incident at the crime scene.

Ms. Harrison was heavily intoxicated and it appears alcohol was a contributing factor in the stabbing, according to the sheriff.
