?Amy M. Polk, 81, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Standifer Place Nursing Home. She was a member of Rock Island Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie and James Polk; parents, Agnes (Lloyd) Polk; siblings, Ophelia Polk, Marietta Polk, Lurine Hughes, Vera Woodard, and Floyd Polk.
Survivors are her son, Michael Hawkins; sister, Jean Polk; Felicia Jackson, Jamie Polk, Chris Polk, Kiba Polk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on ?Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 in the funeral home chapel.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, until the funeral begins at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
